Samara and Togliatti are in the TOP 30 cities for business

This rating was compiled by the editors of Forbes magazine.

90 cities of the country were compared according to various criteria: investment, infrastructure, number of small and medium enterprises, income and quality of life of the population.

The ranking also took into account the city's population, average salary and regional budget revenues.

The Samara region accounts for 42% of the total production of passenger cars in Russia. The total budget income of Samara and Togliatti is about 66 billion rubles. for 2022.

Manufacturers from our region are recognized throughout the country. For example, the Samara region ranks fourth in Russia in terms of beer production volumes. One of the oldest breweries in the country is JSC Zhigulevskoye Beer. And Samara-based Vita Line, founded by a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Kuibyshev Medical Institute, is the fourth largest company in Samara by turnover, revenue in 2022 amounted to 48.8 billion rubles.
