The sister-city of Luoyang shipped 5000 medical masks to the Togliatti City Administration

The package with donated 5000 medical masks arrived in Togliatti from the Department of International Relations of the People's Government of the Luoyang Municipality. 5000 medical masks that meet European Union quality standards have been transferred from the sister-city from China.

The masks would be used for protection of volunteers, conductors and drivers of public transport, as well as managers of the Togliatti area managers.

The Head of Togliatti, Sergey Antashev, thanked the Peoples Government of Luoyang for their support and assistance.
- Your generous friendly gesture deserves the highest praise and is an excellent example of true friendship and mutual understanding between our cities. Im sure that kind and cordial relations between our sister-cities will continue to grow stronger for the good of our states and peoples, - Sergey Antashev said.

This year the sister-cities of Togliatti and Luoyang celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of Friendship and cooperation. In April 2000, an Agreement was signed as part of the visit of the Togliatti delegation to China.
