Togliatti Calendar of Events 2016

Currently, the Togliatti Calendar of events for 2016 is almost comleted. The booklet will include the most intersting event-related events scheduled to be held on the territory of the city of Togliatti. The information was formed by the Tourism Development Sectorof the Department of International and Interregional Relations. the Calendar of Events was introduced in 2013 in order to provide the tourists and visitors with information about the best festivals, exhibitions, forums and other events in Togliatti. The new Calendar of events will help tourists arriving to understand the variety of cultural and festive events in our city.

Two consecutive years Samara region is at the top list of the National Award in the field of event tourism, and many Togliatti projects are winners of the prestigious Russian Events Awards.

This year's winner of the Grand Prix in the nomination "The best event in the field of culture" was the International Music Festival Classics on the Volgam, the Grand Prix in the category "Best sporting event" - XI International Winter Motorcycle Rally SNOWDOGS 2015. Another outstanding event was awarded the second in the same category - Winter Festival active leisure "Zhiguli Sea - 2015".
Russia's largest museum in the open air - the Park Complex of the history of engineering named after K.G. Sakharov was recognized as one of the best platforms for the development of an event tourism in the country. Its territory is a ground for many local holidays, festivals and historical reconstructions, and its unique exhibits attract tourists from other regions.
