Presentation of Togliatti Priority Developmet Area at the Embassy of Japan

July 20, the presentation of the social and economic development and investment potential of the Samara region and opportunities for investors of PDA Togliatti was held during the meeting of the members of the Japan Business Club on the site of the Embassy of Japan in Moscow.

Hiroshi Tajima, The Minister of the Embassy of Japan, welcomed the delegation of the Samara region headed by Sergei Antashev. According to the Minister, the Japanese companies which have manufacturing facilities in the Samara region give positive feedback on the conditions created in the region for foreign investors.

Sergey Antashev. Head of Togliatti city, told that in 2018, within the framework of the cross year of Russia and Japan, a number of cultural events of Japanese theme are planned to be held in Togliatti.

Igor Korotky, Director of the Samara Region Investment Agency, showed the presentation of the Samara region to representatives of the Japanese business community and spoke about the opportunities for cooperation within joint investment projects.

The head of Togliatti city made a presentation of the socail and econimic development of the city, voicing with the advantages and new opportunities for potential investors-residents of Togliatti's Priority Social and Economic Development Area, and also provided information on available investment sites, industrial parks and the Special Economic Zone of Togliatti.
